A standard on-grid system shuts off during power cuts for safety (to protect grid workers). If you need power during outages, we recommend a hybrid system with battery backup — very popular in Khammam, Suryapet, and other load-shedding areas of Telangana.
For a typical Telangana home, the payback period is 4–5 years after the PM Surya Ghar subsidy. After that, you get free electricity for 20+ more years. Commercial systems with higher bills often pay back even faster — sometimes in 2–3 years.
With net metering, excess power your panels generate is exported to the TSSPDCL / TSNPDCL grid. You earn electricity credits at the grid tariff rate, which are automatically deducted from your next bill. Effectively, your meter runs backwards.

A simple rule: about 100 sq ft per kW of capacity. A 3 kW system (suitable for most homes with bills of ₹2,000–₹5,000/month) needs around 300 sq ft of shade-free roof. Our engineer measures your exact available space during the free site visit and designs accordingly.
